Was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for some good, live jazz cds. Lately I have been listening Wynton Marsalis - Live at The Village Vanguard. An amazing cd, but I'm looking for some more.

do you listen to smooth jazz at all?
pretty good, I've seen dave koz, mark antoine, michael mcdonald in concert.. it's awesome. check it out.

^i saw chris botti, euge groove, jay rowe once, don't like them much as traditional jazz though.

OH and if you want live, check out cantaloupe island by the man himself, mr. herbie hancock. tears it UP on watermelon man.

Someone reconized Oscar Peterson? Awesome, probally my second favorite jazz artist after Miles. I've seen him live 4 times now. An amazing show, espicially for someone in their 80s. I don't think he tours anymore though. It's a shame.
