+1 for the rhyme
I got a vx2100 in october, filmed with it all winter, and am very satisfied with it's performance...fortunately, I have paid off the camera and now have sufficient funds to buy a wide angle lens.
Problem is, I dont know anything about them. Does the lens have to be Sony to fit? Does Sony make wide angles? What are reliable non shitty brands? Are you there God, it's me Margaret?
Anywho, help me out with a link or some suggestions of wide angles that are fricka fresh and work with a vx2100.
say word.

look up what size threads your camera has and find a lens matching that or slightly larger than it. if you get a larger lens you can mount a step down ring on it.
look to spend like 150-200

It looks like a really nice lens. You can usually judge quality of the lens by the amount it costs. Personally, I think that .7x is not much magnification, and I would look for something more like .6x or so; not fisheye, but wide enough to make it more worth it.

yeah emmet, try a .5 or .6x, i think youll like the results better and find it more noticeable. if you can, try and find a review to see if theres any distortion of vignetting cuz you dont want that, and some cheaper lenses will have that at the tradeoff of a lower magnification to reel you in.
