If you somehow dont know, Mt.Hood (specifically Timberline Lodge) is the place where you can ski all year round and ski park at least 9 months of the year.. There are also three resorts, Meadows, Timberline and Ski Bowl. Also a fourth small one called Summit. The town there is Government Camp, OR. Summit is right in town, and Ski Bowl is on the other end of town across the street. The access road to Timberline Lodge, which is actually on Mt Hood itself, is less than a mile from one end of town. Its 6 miles up the access road to Timberline Lodge.. Mt Hood Meadows, is about 8 miles from Government Camp.
TLine and Meadows both are day ski areas with night skiing on certain days. TLine has two or three nights and I believe Meadows has 5 or 6. Ski bowl is open afternoons and evenings, and all day on weekends, so during the winter season you can shred from 9 am to 11 pm..
Anyway, the Mt. Hood area is uber sick and could definitely use more skiers in the winter..
Oh yeah and in 2007-2008 season we had 859 inches of snow....
