i'm looking to buy an orvis superfine series 2-weight. i figured i'd see if anyone on here has one they want to get rid of rather than buying it new from my local orvis shop. also, i'm open to any other 2-3 weight fly rods anyone may be looking to unload. just message me or post in here with whatever you guys have. thanks!
go with a scott rod. they make great rods with a good action to them and they dont cost as much. i have an 8 wgt for steelys and salmon and a 4 wgt for the smaller stuff brookys, browns, etc.
i've been fly fishing for almost twenty years, so i know what i'm doing. i want the two weight for fishing small streams for small trout. i'd be open to other companies besides orvis, but that's just the one that i've tried and i really like. so if anyone has a pretty high end 1, 2, or 3 weight from any company i'd be interested. i just want to get a nice rod and i can't really afford to spend 500 dollars on one right now. also, i don't really need it with a reel, but i'd take that into consideration if someone wants to get rid of a whole package.
damn son. well i guess that makes sense if you're fishing for small trout, better hope you don't hook into anything big haha. i use a 5 weight, 4 would do as well. but hell you've been doing this shit for more years than i've been alive so you know more than me haha.
