nothing will ever beat the album "midnight marauders" best use of samples ever....but if your looking for comprable music....just listen to qtip and jarobee's lyrics - they mention their favorite artists a lot..and many make guest appearances throughout the years - like the roots (illadelph halflife labum) jill scott...nas - de la (for sure - a lot!) common is in there a lot...pharcyde...nas....they (newer hip hop groups) dont make those melodic sounds like they used to!
