aside from the gayness, it actually looks kinda chill. i mean, in the middle of the desert, no cars allowed, cant leave a orange trash fence unless you pay for re entry, no money exchange is allowed except for like coffee and ice. it just sounds kind of fun, you have to rely on yourself.

The only thing that sucks horribly about it is the fucking traffic getting in there.. I'd advise going in VERY EARLY. (like a whole day) and camping on the highway so you can beat the enourmous lines.

If it doesn't coincide with the begging of school, I'm going for sure.  Check out Reggae Rising if you haven't as well.  Both are amazing although I've only been to Reggae Rising (formerly Reggae on the River).

The problem with workin seasonal jobs, is its right in the middle of the season. shambhala too...

once again i am amazed and mildly amused by the willfull closemindedness of people, and once again dissapointed by the proud ignorance displayed by some.

anyone who speaks out against burning man immediatly loses all of my respect and is crossed off of my list of people I should talk to.

at my first job when I was 16 some people stopped at the little market where I worked for some snacks.  It was two guys and one chick.  The chick had a gnarly tear in the crotch of her jeans and you could full on see her fuckin beav.  She turned around, saw me looking at her verticle smile and simply giggled in a spaced out sorta way and bent over the counter even farther to pay for her stuff and then nonchalantly walked out to their VW bug and took off.


Just this past summer my neighbor that works down at the lake (Lake Tahoe) tells me how he sees people that are coming from burning man.  I asked him how he knew that they were coming from burning man he replied by saying " Well the chicks kept grabbin this dudes schlong, pulling it out, and taking picutres of it n'shit, it was fuckin gross, but the chicks were some sexy lookin hippies."

Burning man is definetly on the list for things to do before I die.

Is it like a music festival or what? Info anyone? I am fully capable of using google, but its nice to hear from people who have gone.

Might have to eventually make the trek down there, but right now my finances are way too slim for that.
