The following is a little about Gravity Magazine,
What is Gravity Magazine?
Gravity is a fusion
Gravity is synergy
Gravity is unparalleled in Canada
It’s 1:45am on cold February night in the south corner of Islington Subway Station’s parking lot. A few hours ago a snow bank towered about 20 feet over the vacant spaces, it has since been carved into an urban quarter pipe. The guinea pig skier stands at the end of line of snow 2 inches deep, not to mention that its only 12 inches wide and the toe rope is tied to the back of a snowmobile. This is the start of another urban trick session, in the classic fashion of the skateboard session. At Gravity Magazine, we combine the best of extreme sport in Canada. In the parks, and on the urban sessions, we combine the world of ski and snowboard culture. We tear down the walls and bring Canadians a blend of old and new, trendy and cool. On land and water, we fuse with the ever-changing culture of skateboarding and the dramatics of wakeboarding precision. Together in every season, Gravity will defy the limits on how the next generation will challenge the current limits and continue to evolve their sports. As they crash into one another, we embrace the differences while celebrating the similarities and the vision of where it all one day may lead.
Unlike other publications on the market, we embrace what is ours. A culture unique to Canada. Our distinctive Rocky mountains, to the ski hills of Ontario, to the waters of the Muskoka and the skate parks across this great nation, we have set out to clinch what is ours. Our lifestyle. Our culture. Our future.
At Gravity, we have set out to appeal to the reality of extreme sport, not just the dream. Inside readers will find stories of those riders straight off their last run. Gravity will combine the differences that make these cultures unique in their own. Gravity will evolve by watching the underground scene and street movements to unify the world of extreme sport. Gravity will Continue to push the envelope and bring to the young riders what has been missing. Gravity will provide Canadian youth an avenue for fun, for learning and for life as it is when your not pro, but love your sport.
Embrace the culture. Rock Gravity.
