Sending skis back to armada, questions

Alright so these past few days I've been talking to Tyson Hall as the heel piece of my binding ripped out and it appears that the fibres in the ski are cracked right down the width of the ski. It appears as though I am sending them in and they said that they shall inspect to see if they can replace them. I have a couple questions about sending them in for those that have done it.

I'm pretty sure that I must pay shipping charges but what service should I use and what options (ie. ups ground?)

Do I send it in a box, if so I've never seen a box big enough to fit my skis in.

and i really dont know what else i need so if someone who has done it can you please let me know what other information i'll need other than my return authorization number and such?

I'd use whatever shipping you want and you should have to pay for the shipping cost to get the skis to Armada.

Call a fwe ski shops and see if they have any ski boxes lying around - often they will if they have recieved skis from suppliers recently

If you have the #RA then put it in the box with the skis so Tyson/Whoever looks after warranty can I.D whose skis they are and what the issue is according to their records.

Actually..the best thing you could do is copy/paste your message in an email to Tyson. He will tell you what he needs. (Everything except the box question).

that same thing happened to my friend.. his heal piece came off and he had like pressure cracks or wtv going through his ski and he said that he needed to buy new skis.. dont know if he meant he needed new skis and couldnt get them replaced.. or if he meant they didnt want to replace them.. but they were armada and the same problem as you..

word, i do have pressure cracks right through under the binding and a partial delam where the cracks are beginning so i took it in to a shop seeing if they could healy coil it or at least remount it adn they said it wasnt safe, ski was too weak apparently.

go to your local shred shop and ask for a box.
theyll have some you can have. probably.

Send them back in through the shop you bought em at, you're more likley to get a new pair back than if you shipped em on your own.
