Where exactly did you hear this. I live in Plymouth (30 mins south) and I just checked the weather, Lincoln is only supposed to get 5-6". But hey, lets hope for the best right?

This Afternoon: Periods of snow, mainly after 4pm. High near 36. South wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tonight: Periods of snow possibly mixed with sleet. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 28. East wind 7 to 10 mph becoming south. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.

Wednesday: Periods of snow. High near 32. West wind between 3 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
