Ninthward quality?

I was wondering what the quality of ninthwards stuuf is?? ive heard they have shit top sheets, is this true??

im just wondering because i just copped some Ninthward Lil buuters BN for $80 from backcountry.com!!!! but even if they are shit qaulity i only paid $80.

i have a pair of ninths and yes they do chip pretty easily, but the ski itself has been very durable for me, and there has been no like performance decrease at all, and the skis fucking kill it


also, 80 dollars is an amazing deal for those skis. have fun on em

Even if they do break if you send pictures to ninthward they willl send you a new pair.

Not for like edge stuff but like delaminating, or an actual break on the ski.

And this years stuff is way better quality because they are made in a new factory. (Elan)

they also have one of the easiest warranties in the industry. just email them pictures

yea, but its not a legit warranty system.  they warranty anything, just so kids buy there skis again.

That makes nothing whatsoever.

If you get your skis warrantied you wouldn't have to buy a new pair of skis.

that seems smart to me, a kids skis break and they get new ones. shows they stand behind their skis. they are helping out people big time.

well when you warranty them for reasons other than manufacturur defect, thats kind of a weird warranty system.

9th's rep is slowing growing to be a lot more reliable. They may not have the sturdiest topsheets, but they're definitly dope skis.

topsheet chips, delams, coreshots, edge pullouts, most of these problems can route back to the manufacturing process

warrantys can be hard to decide for any freestyle ski, rails and jumps put abuse on skis, and thats obviously what people purchase twin tips for

topsheet is shitty for sure, but as long as it is a dark color graphic you can just use a sharpie and cover it up.

Lil butters are cap construction. Everything everyone has said about chipping dosn't really apply. Yes, other ninthwards will chip but you shouldn't have that problem with lil butters.
