injured need help

I recently tore a ligament and badly sprained my ankle in soccer. I want to get back to the field as soon as possible and alos be ready for the ski season. Any therapies, homeopathic stuff, or anythign you did to speed healing would help. thanks.

ive been to the doctors, he told me 4 weeks. thats way too long, im not looking for a way to shortcut the injury, i want to know if you guys have done anything that promoted healing.

fuck soccer... save yourself for skiing, i tore 3 ligiments on my trampoline it takes time if you dont wait it wont heal right then you will be considerably slower with one leg

soccers awesome, just do stretches and some excercises, keep ice on it when it gets sore

dont play for at least 3 weeks, you can fuck tyourself up for the rest of your life if you have ligaments heal wrong.

wait the 4 weeks, don't fuck yourself up anymore. your soccer's almost over for this year anyway, unless you're indoor......

a 4 week recovery is nothing, i'm 2 months into a 3-4 month surgery recovery. don't go and screw yourself up anymore.... it's not worth it.

thats the bad part. this happened three weeks ago. i figured it was just a sore ankle but the pain from chipping a ball still hurt. so then i went to the doctor, after three weeks. how bad is that?

well if the doctor says wait for weeks then do it. They didnt go to college for 8 years for nothin. Plus you arent gonna miss any skiing.

i hurt myback and the doctor told me not to ski and i went skiing two days after it happened and it fucked my whole season i was weak an got hurt two more times thatyear so i couldnt ski for like the last month and a half of skiing listen to the doctor

i had a similer problem with my back and i would reinjure it when i would ski because i didn't give it enough time. give it time.

I always usta jack my ankle. good news, your ski boot is like a cast. Ice the shit down so the swelling goes down enough to get your foot in, then clamp in. It'll hurt like a bitch and you'll be too sore to walk the next day, but its better than spankin it on the couch all day. Take lotsa meds and suck it up.
