McDonalds subliminal colour messages

well yesterday an industrial engineer came into our drafting class for a presentation. he told us that they have proven that different colours change our moods and behavior, and McDonalds has been using it to subliminallly get business.
it turns out that bright red makes people hungry, and yellow makes people anxious and wanting to leave the room. the red makes the people want to eat, and the yellow (and the hard, purposely uncomfortable chairs) make people want to leave as soon as they are done eating, to make room for new customers.
they are playing with us!

Yeah, flashy colors as red and blue also attract our eyes. That is why coke is red and pepsi is blue

Of course they use colours that are proven to produce desired results from customers. This tactic is employed in pretty much any store you go into....

Its also about the design of the chairs and tables. Chairs: not too comfortable, and the tables: very small that only 2 or 4 people can sit on one table at the same time. They want a constant change in their restaurants. They dont want you to stay any longer, than you need for your lunch. - so not to fucked up, but still uncomfortable
