Isn't Jah the Rastafarian God?  I think it's kind of stupid to put on a Graphic.  You don't see people making Jesus Rocks or God Love skis with a picture of God or Jesus on them.  It's just a stupid name for a ski I think.  I hope they try some marketing thing with it like "Be Free, Ride pow, Jah Love."  I think the Blower, Enforcer, Ignition names were even better than this.

by the way those who love and worship jah see themselves as having transcended categorization in an -ism... so the whole 'rastafarianism' term doesn't really fit with the way of life. similarly it is not a 'belief' system but more like a way of life. all pretty complex from a western perspective. i dunno.

what also makes me mad is how people use rastafarianism as an excuse to smoke Ganja, if you want to smoke ganja then smoke ganja but don't fuckin' say "yeah man, rasta." and shit like that as your excuse to smoke ganja........... But also the Jah love looks sooo sick and even though they are playing off a religion it is a fucking original graphic thats for sure.

the whole "i smoke weed so i wear rasta colors" is a trend and nordica jumped on the banwagon. its hard to believe all these skiers sporting the religious colors truly follow the rastifarian way of life.

with all the new fat / rockered skiis these seem to get the most hype and attention due to the artwork.  i think the tail is kinda flatter than most would prefer but we will see

nordica only has one fat twin this year, the zero. the blower and the enforcer and the jah love are all flat tails. and the zero is GAYYYYYYY!. shitty graphic, and its not at all wide enough. fuck i was hoping nordica would step it up and make a ski rory could really rip on.

2 Reasons.

1. It's drawn like a character for a shitty cartoon for four year olds.

2. It looks like "jah" is pleasuring himself.

Not only that... I don't care how the ski skis at all. I will never support that POS company. They don't make product that looks good, is fuctional in the respects it should be, or a product that is in tune with a newschool sensibility.
It's a really fat ski with a flat tail, what's so great about that?

as has been said before (and this is a quote, however badly i repeat it) "What has nordica done for the Newschool movement besides lengthen the already horrible career of Brad Homes?"

You people got it all wrong.

The Rastafari is a spirituality, not a religion. It's more of a culture/way of life so don't confuse it with religion. If you are Rastafari then that is what your life is dedicated to and you are devoted to praising Selessie "Jah" Rastafari I. And, although it is wrong for us to depict Rastafari on skis the Rasta are a very chill (as we all know) group of people. By the way I believe Candide actually is a part of the Rastafari if I am not mistaken, and same goes for Tanner Hall who chills with Cali P and Ras Theo all the time. So please, dont say shit you dont know about.

ok so back to the real topic of discussion how they ski. I skiied them today and i gotta say they were pleasantly surprising. They are massive but dont fight you to get on edge in the hardpack, once you get them up on edge there soft ennough to flex through the turn and overall turn pretty well for a ski that big. I dropped them into the trees where there was some fresh to play around in and they slayed it. They wanted to run fast and then felt comfortable dumping speed in a hurry off the tails. Overall I would give them a 9/10. Granted i would never buy them as i live on the east coast but i would deffinately say these are more versatile then some of the other super fats like pontoons and arg. Without a rocker and a normal sidecut Im sure they dont perform as outstanding in super deep, but deffinately a great ski.
