Hey Guys,
I'm a fellow skiier from germany and would like you, to recommend a ski to me.
I'm 187 and 75 kg and i want my ski to work in the park but also on the piste and in the powder from time to time.
So what is your advice? Which size should i chose and what's the best ski for me?
Thanks for your help.

ah, I forgot to mention that i'm a quite good skiier, but i never had the chance to hit park and pipe more than 4-5 days yet.

get a ski around the same height as you, 180-190 range. that will be good and poppy for on piste and jumps and pipe.
if your really into jibbing get a ski a bit shorter than you, some where inbetween your chin and your nose. its easier to get around for rails.
as far as ski characteristics, just try to find demo days at nearby mountains.

there are actually alot of different kind of skis that would be good for you. if they are going to be your only pair, i'd get something with a 90+mm waist. as for size, i'd probably get 179-185, if they are going to be your park skis.
dynastar big troubles, rossignol scratch bs, k2 PE or seths would probably be what you are looking for. just try to demo as many skis you can. it's all about personal preference really.

basically, P.Es are bomb proof, but heavy
and foils are light, but alot easier to break

hey thanks for all the postings.
I have the chance to get the dynastar troublemaker + the Look PX 12 Jib binding for about 200 bucks.
Problem is that the ski is only 175 cm long.
What do ya think?
Shall i knock down this offer?

PE's and Anthems aren't really pow skis.
Go with a rossi brigade, scratch BC, line bacons, maybe an ARV, a line blend might actually be really good for you too in 186

i would say, if you are gonna use this as an all-mountain ski do not get them, they are way too short. you need to be in the 180 range, unless you're looking for a pure jibbing ski, which it doesn't sound like.
i ski on volkl karmas, made in Deutschland, and i like them a lot because i can do anything with them.
its stiff, which i like because i can bomb down anythihng, and it doesn't suck too bad in the park.
