Ski Movie 2: High Society

well i just bought it and watched it and im pretty disapointed. I also have propaganda and have watched alot of other moives, High Society was good a little to much back county but that was still cool,
the worst thing i though was the sound track in my opinion the sound track can make or break a movie and this one it broke i think, propaganda soundtrack you cant get out of your head but after and hour i have forgotten any of the music in High society. also they used one of the swollen members songs from propaganda, and some song from shaun palmers pro snowboarder(the game may have taken that from high society i dont know)
Next they used some of the stuff from propaganda mostly in vinnie and mike douglas's sections, that really made me dislike it but i dont know did propaganda copy high society?
overall i thought it was something like Some thing about mcconkey meets propaganda meets something elses, basicly it was unoriginal

ok - that comment 'too much back country stuff' - are you fucking idiot? usually don't swear to people, but you must have your head up your ass if you were suprised that MSP would make a video that was mostly big mountain skiing. OF COURSE it was mostly big mountain - that's what MSP fucking does, make big mountain flicks with a bit of park skiing in it. And I personally like big mountain videos.
Oh, and Wendy Fishers song is by 'Kitty'... they're from London, Ontario.
And about the copied jumping footage, you wouldn't happen to have seen Royalty, Propaganda, and Scandalous! would of you? If so you would have noticed that TONS of the footage is repeated in all three movies. So why should SM2:HS be any different?

about stealing songs.. THey all make there movies at the same time. and some record companies are cheaper then others so they go with those songs that they think fit. look back on snowboard videos a few years ago and i see the music from them poping up in ski movies now. and backcountry is the shit. you can ski your whole life but im pretty sure no one is going to be sking and hucking hard like they are in there younger years in a park..

yeah i have let it sink in and it was better than my first impressions but also havent seen and MSP productions that i remember at least and so i didnt really know so sorry for saying that but anyway i think it would be a lot tighter movie if the sound track was a little better but im sure its hard to get a good soundtrack with out using at least some of the same bands and stuff

SKI MOVIE 2 was awsome. the music was good but some was shitty. like Eric Pollards part. I hated that

Darryl is right, 'too much backcountry' What the fuck, thats the best part. Shane and seth hucking double backs that was sick. I will agree that some of the songs sucked but I liked the soundtrack as much as propganda's. For the length I think it's awesome MSP could put together 1h15min of footage. A true bargain. High Society was the best movie of the year in my opinion.

yea, there was so much backcountry. the only back country part I liked, were Seths and Mike Douglas' part. but there were lots of park stuff. like boyds and vinnies and CRs part and philous were sick
