Powder Vs. Freeskier

Just wondering, which do you guys think is better, or do the magazines complement eachother?  It seems like freeskier has a slightly younger, more-park oriented subscriber base, where as Powder has more subscribers who would associate more with the big-mountain and Backcountry scene and are a little older...  both are badass magazines for sure though.

Yea man there both sick mags, but as you said freeskier is more oriented to the younger generation and Powder for the BC peeps... i guess, maybe some one is gona bitch me out for saying that but w/e. As for a fav, im going to have to go with Power because there is a copy on the floor like 5 feet from me. haha

FREEZE, but since they are dead, i would say freeskier, but both are sick, i think freeskier is cheaper so i get that...

yeah FREEZE was the best ski magazine until it died, and im not sure between powder and freeskier, it seems like to me freeskier has to many ads

powder for sure. quality of writing is so much better, and the pictures are dope. they got park in there, too. I get both though, so it's all good.

yes they do have better writing talent i will give Powder that, but the stories do not interest me as much as some of Freeskier's

I've never picked up an issue of Powder that didn't have an article that choked me up. Both the writers and those who contribute with letters seem to be extremely talented. I love them both, suscribe to both. But in this debate, I think Powder is amazing. If you just like the park and newschool aspect of skiing, then Freeskier is amazing. But as far as articles go, Powder touches me like a priest in a candy store.

Freeskier has gotten better in the last few years.  But before that it seemed to be more concerned with what you wear than how you ski.  It was the fashion mag of the ski world.  It has improved a ton since then, but powder is still better, to me.

POWDER!!!! A picture us worth a thousand words and Powder's photo's are some much better. I think Freeskier is worst since Freeze is no longer. They have no competition so they don't half to be good. Freeskier thinks Jimbo "Douchbag" Morgan, Colorado and Park shots are still cool.

I love both just depends what i wanna read

powder is really deep and gets me thinking
freeskier is just gnar...but still towned down from freeze
