Firstly hello, this is my first post so please be gentle with me!
I'm looking to buy my first pair of twin tips in the next week or so but have absolutely no idea what to get? I have been looking at K2 P.E's but have read lots of reviews saying that they area heavy ski when airborne?
My plan is to ski a mixture of park/ piste stuff with the occasional venture off piste. I've been skiing since i was 4 (i'm now 26) so am fairly competant and want to start on the freeskiing side of things, Also I'm a keen skater so fingers crossed the tricks shouldn't be too hard to learn!
So what do you guys reccomend? What size ski should I get (i'm 5ft 8/9)
While i'm on the subject any suggestions on boots?
Many thanks in advance
Iain

the pe's would be a good choice or maybe some ar6s in the 176 size heavy skis have never really bothered me

if your looking at park specific boots, look at salomon spk, dalbello krypton rampages, and technica agents

Go see a bootfitter. No other answer.
Ski wise, 5'8/5'8 you'd probably be looking at something 175+. Nothing shorter

but dont buy them online without seeing a bootfitter, they all fit VERY differently.
All times are Eastern (-4)
