You know what the best about skiing is?

i was outside today and it was cold, little snow, and sunny. perfect day to go skiing.  then i had some memories on skiing of when i would either fly down groomers or haveing an amazing powder day. most of these memories come on a perfect day like today. snow on the ground, not too cold but good, and sunny. i love those runs where your just smiling the whole way down that at the bottom your teeth are hurting from all the wind and from how cold they get. and i have this biggest grin after the runs.

thats what i love about skiing, and i really wish i could go today for its such a perfect day.

hell yeah man, even though i live in Chicago, i cant stop thinking about skiing when we get snow, even though i hardly ever get to do it, its a passion and thats what its all about

no doubt, now that i think about it, i get that same kinda excitement/hapiness when i learn a new trick or someone in the park is congratulating me for something. i just love it when other kids who are better than me are nice to me, and then there are those assholes who bash on you and other kids who are just learning.

^ me too, and i hated it when i was first learning (still am but i mean at the VERY beginning) how people would hate on you for not being sick at it, i mean i dont mind laughs if i fall and im not seriously hurt, hell ill probobly be laughing too, its when they think they own the park, and that you shouldnt be trying to get into it that pisses me off, just don't mind them and it'll all be good

ya man i hate when kids hate like that. i try and be nice to everybody no matter how good they are, and if they need help its cool to try and teach them stuff. i like riding with all kinds of people (ability wise) because its a good balance of you helping and you getting help.

agreed, i mean i ski with my cousin and he is just starting and i love watching him progress because i teach him things and he picks it up quick and he is like your so good, and then we go into the park and i get all depressed because kids show me up, it just sucks. but i'll never stop.

yeah dude fuck those kids. i hate kids like that, im by far not the best in the park, but i can definitely hold my own and i still get made fun of constantly by a bunch of dick heads. you just gotta block those kids out, cause some day you will be twice as good as them and they will still be laughing at people. i feel like no one in my park even tries to help, i know the only person who helped me with shit was my cousin but nobody i don't know ever offers help. it sucks cause it seems like at a lot of other parks people are friendly (or so it seems from NS). that would be dope.

yeah the vibes at some places kinda suck because of that, i loved sierra when i went but alot of the guys in the park made me feel like i wasnt good enough to be there and like i didnt even wanna try anything after a while

but skiing is my whole life i mean i pretty much do something to do with skiing 24/7 and i wouldnt have it any other way, and i dont even care anymore if i look like a total fool as long as im having fun

i only do tricks when i really feel like it, the rest of the time im doing 1s and stupid little dance tricks in the air or on boxes or w/e. i lo to fuck around, riding hard is overrated unless you feel like doing it.

the best part is knowing that it spices up your life. It can humble you or it can boost your ego to levels ungodly. There is so much diversity in style, media, and lifestyles. But the one common thing is that we all love sliding down snow on two planks, while going broke at the same time.

same. skiing is all about having a good time and i enjoy just messin around most the time although i do some difficult stuff (for me anyways) every now and then. gah i love to ski
