TM's kick so much ass, the 08's are MAD nice too. I have some of the 06's now, missing over 3ft of edges, and like 8 square inches of base, they still perform like champs, ice is an issue, but park they still kill it.
I have a brand new pair of anthems sitting in my car and I still use the tm's over them. I'd say go with the 08's if you can, if not look into the 06's.

i have/had last years trouble makers.
I've never skied 06's so i'll do i quick runtrough of the 07s. wish the tail was a lil stffer, they've become rather noodly, missing 1 inch of edge and 1.5 sq inches of base after 50ish mountain days and more backyard seshions then i can remember.
whether you should get them or not? I'd do i bit more comparisions first. skis change

If I were you I'd go for the '08s, if you had to choose a Troublemaker. If not, throw some more skis into the mix. Volkl Wall? Armada AR6? 4Frnt STL? Rossi Ghetto? K2 PE (and join the 10000000 other people who have them)?

so are you trying to say that the TM and nothing but trouble are the same ski? i might be reading it wrong. but i was told the TM had an extra plate underboot to add stiffness? true or not idk, it's hearsay. but if they are the same ski why is one cheaper and they're called different names?
or
you saying the 08 NBT is the same as the 06 TM?
?!?!?!??!??!?!

2008 nothin but trouble is the 2007 trouble maker. the new trouble maker is 3mm wider throughout with better edge and binding reinforcement and no more metal plates on the tip and tale, so swing weight is a little better even though its a bigger ski overall. oh, they ski amazingly too.
