Ridiculous

I was at Caberfae (michigan) and one of my first few time out, we and some friends bombd north peak and i was on a paire of rentals (yea scary i know) and i got some air when i landed i noticed that my right ski was not there, the fcking binding came of the ski mid flight, so my boot catches and i go face first, i was doing close to 35 i bet (i was fck cruising) well i break my nose and get really bent out of shape. plus my ski goes flying down the hill and whacks some guy right in the fucking balls. My buddies say it was the greatest thing they ever say, dead on.

so heres this: a couiple years ago i wal hauling into this bowl and hit a patch of ice, slammed, rolled, and wrapped my femur around a tree. full snap. i started freaking out, screaming, a couple buddies of mine tried to pull me up off the tree, but they slipped too, and dropped me off the cornice. i fell 10 feet, ragged about 240 feet down the chopped bowl, into some more trees. my leg was so fucked up that my left kneecap was about under my right buttcheek. it took patrol 40 mins to find me, so if the bones had clipped an arterty, i would have died.

I was just finishing a run, coming out a lot too fast, doubling up some bumps and got my skis crossed up, went flying through the air upside down and backwards straight into a boundary line post. 5 broken ribs, shattered scapula, punctured lung, compressed vertebre. happened on dec. 2 and I was skiing (slowly and on groomers only) by mid january. I was skiing hard and carrying 40 to 50 lbs of gear and filming again by february. That was 2 seasons ago and I still have some pain. My advice to anyone who gets injured is take your time and heal up right or you will have problems down the road.

I saw this fool spin a 9 at keystone and in the middle of his spin his ski fell off....this was like a 40 ft. kicker...but he finished his spin and came out of it on one ski...it was sick..thought he was goin to eat forsure

yeah, i saw something like that in a ski movie, cant remember which one but the guy was hitting this like 60 footer, and he spun to hard off the lip and one of his skis came off, he just got fucked, lost all control in the air and just started flailing like fuck, i think he landed sideways or someshit about midway down the landing and just ragdolled like fuck. then he got up and hit it again only keeping his skis o this time

I was straightlining the bottom of this diamond today. The flat light was fucking horrible and I thought it was groomed. I hit a mogul field going mach 213098 and went for a football field length cartwheeling tumble. Snapped one of my brand new Volkl bridges right behind the binding, ripped my pants and jacked and actually shredded my season pass in half. It was intense as fuck. Thank god I was wearing a helmet.

I was jumping a patch of shale at Big Sky a couple years ago and the shit hit the fan. I ended up pushing too far into the snow and catching on a rock when I popped, which sent me forward. As I was going through the air I also realized the patch of rocks was quite a bit longer than I had expected. So I land face first in the rocks, ruin my helmet, and cartwheel through them--if you've been to Big Sky before you can imagine how good this felt. I ended up just cutting up my left shoulder, side, and hip and filling my pants with blood as I went down the mountain in the sled, but didn't immediately notice any major injuries. Two months down the road we take more x-rays because I've had a constant headache the whole time, and find out a vertebrae in my neck has been rotated 30 degrees and put at a slight angle the entire time. This in turn messed up my jaw, so I'll have chronic jaw and neck issues for the rest of my life. Not the gnarliest injury, but it's with me all of every day and will most likely never get better.

I can't remember what magazine I was reading, but this dude was hitting pillow lines somewhere and he drops off one and theres a tree branch pointing directly up from where hes going to land (impalement risk) so hes coming down onto what he thinks is going to be a tree up the ass and clenches his ass cheeks to try avoid it. Once hes hit the tree he discovers that the tree has in fact missed his ass, but impaled him through the nutsack. As if things weren't bad enough, a shitload of pow falls on him and makes it impossible to get himself off of the tree branch. Oh, he also had to ride almost the whole way down. I'd say that it pretty brutal.
