I'm planning on skipping school tomorrow and heading up to either Stratton, Mount Snow, or Loon, but do you think it will be too windy and lifts will have to close? I'm thinking its just gonna be cold as balls, but I want to know your input.
wind hold sucks. its for our own safety though. somebody fell off the barker quad on wed/thurs because of high winds. apperently they were ok though. but wind holds don't usually happen unless the winds areabove 35 mph ish. so check the forecasts for the winds. if its above that then i'd go to school but below i would definatly skip.Â
okay... get in your car and be like hey tom tom, take me to mcdonalds, and get a application and be like tom tom, take me home, fill it out and get back in your car and be like tom tom, take me back to mcdonalds and then be like you here is my application, and then they will call you later and be like yo...want the job and be like yeah and then get in your car and say hey tom tom, take me to mcdonalds and then be like bam pay check then be like i quit and then be like tom tom take me to the ski hill and be like bam here is the cash and they will be like here is the season pass then be like bam im on the ski hill and then when you are done be like, tom tom take me home, and then you wake up the next day they go to your car and then be like tom tom, take me to the hill again, then do that again till there is no snow...
hahah yes powder in the east indeed...fuck invaders...we had a storm that is known as the valentines day massacre (42inches) turned out pretty good pow...and ummmm its kinda snowin hard right now...bout 14inches in the valley and like 2 ft. in the mountains....so i guess yes pow in the east
Definitely powder in the east. Mad river glen was amazing today and should be again tomorrow. Well, amazing other than it having to close at around 230 because of insane winds. Powder everywhere.
Ohh and Donate to Ron Paul today if you haven't yet. Tea Party ends at midnight tonight and we need to get to 6.2 million to beat Hillary's all-time 24 hour fund raising record. The ticker is at about 4.5 million now.
I was on the chair behind the dude..it didn't have that much to do with the wind..more to do with the lift naturally swaying when it entered the lift housing and him scooting forward too soon.
It was a fucking brutal fall though and it seriously pissed me off that sooo many people just skied right off the lift and right on by. He ended up just breaking an arm but for a while there he was fading in and out of consiousness (probably from shock) and from what I was told he was airlifted to CMMC.
