feet of snow like this is a nightmare for restors. last april when sugarloaf got hit with 40 or 50 something in one storm they had to shovel out all of the lifts and them out with snow cats too. somehow a snowcat got stuck in all of the powdery madness and they sugarloaf had to take off one of its tracks and drag it out. I'm not familiar with taos but if they have the elevation for heli skiing i bet its insane right nwo.

We got 6 feet overnight last Thanksgiving weekend. As you all saw. And then it snowed another 3-4 over the next 5 days.

Yeah we both get pooped on. Baker moreso than the rest of the PNW somehow, but AK has more reliable dumpage.

60" of colorado snow is way better than baker snow

Crested Butte Backcountry is going off, everything is stable and ready to go... probably over 100" out at Irwin in the last week and a half. It's DEEP.
