im 6'0 abotu 150lbs. using my 177 volkl walls for park mostly and all mountain, jib, some park for my 181 ghettos.
i want them farther than recommended but not center, maybe +2 but idk the benefits of a few cm forward..someone give me a brief explanation? my walls are going true obviously but i want my ghettos more of all-mtn rather than pure park like my walls.
thanks

I'm assuming the Ghettos are the same as the Rossignol Scratch FS WRS from last year.
Based on my research here and what people told me, true center of the ski is 7cm forward of the "modern" line. The most popular decision by far on NS is to mount at +5 (-2 from true center). Personally I chose to go with +3 from modern because I do about 60/40 park/all mountain.
People like to mount more towards the center because the swing weight when spinning is more even and you're more centered on rails/boxes in the park. This obviously makes it more difficult all mountain because you have more tail that can drag when turning etc. It's more difficult to make sharp, quick turns but I've seen plenty of kids at true center still rip all mountain. Also, if you live somewhere with a lot of powder then more center is obviously going to make your skis dive into the snow more easily and you'll have to lean back a lot more. Just some things to think about. Good luck.
