I currently pay for a ventrilo server that has 50 slots. What is ventrilo?
Ventrilo is the next evolutionary step of Voice over IP (VoIP) group communications software. By offering surround sound positioning and special sound effects on a per user, per channel, per server or global configuration level the program provides each user the option to fully customize exactly how they wish to hear sounds from other users or events.

pm me on how to set it up and for the IP ADDRESS and PORT for the server.

*must have a microphone

it's an easy way to talk and discuss about equipment, resorts, etc.
even sit down with other NS'ers from all over the world that are members and watch videos together.

lol i copied that from the website.

skype is bad...
my server has 50 slots meaning 50 diff people can come join in if they have a mic and talk to others about skiing and what not. certain channels such as "SKIS" "BOOTS" "MISC" etc. people will go into those channels to talk about the certain items. some nights we will hold prank calls. its basically fun.

you make a username
you type in my server address to join it
you join the server
you click on a channel to join
you press your bounded HOTKEY you set up in options to talk
your mic turns green to show whose talking
anyone can talk at same time
others listen
people laugh
click disconnect to leave


its pretty slef-explanatory in my opinion from that image i showed you, even i have havent used it before.. cmon guys. skype is sick but its not as handy as this..

  so you can talk to other people through your computer or something?  i dont really get what this is.  can someone explain

if you have a mic, you plug it in.. press a button to talk through your mic so everyone can hear you and discuss issues.
