no but I would like to. New Yorkers and a lot of east coasters are the most oblivious people ever. If it's not New York, Boston, DC or Florida they couldn't give a fuck. I was talking to chick who was a medical resident in NYC on the train in Europe. She didn't know Colorado was a rectangle state and thought it had an ocean. And that bitch was obviously smart but was just completely oblivious to anything but the East Coast. It was funny.

i wouldnt generalize it to just people on the EC. most people are oblivious to the simplest of things. look at ms. north carolina or whatever her name is.
back when i was in school this kid in my constitutional law class thought alaska and hawaii were right next to each other because thats where they were located on the map. i was absolutely shocked someone could be that stupid.

But Ms. North Carolina is not smart. She's hot and dumb as shit, those things are expected. The girl I was talking to, actually she was a woman in her mid-20s, was obviously smart. You don't make thru med school if you aren't smart. But obviously she was too busy to worry about anything west of Jersey, much less west of Chicago. She probably knows California is over there somewhere.
And obviously I'm generalizing. It's not a matter of being smart it's just a matter of giving a shit about what else is there. Many people who live on the East Coast never leave nor do any of their relatives so they just don't worry about it. I'm not talking about stupid people cause they are everywhere, I'm just talking about the so called "east coast bias" that everyone talks about.
