I think Boyd got injured early in the 2003-2004 season in a halfpip comp. Tore his acl or mcl really bad and had to get it replaced. There was a freeze or freeskier spot on it, and said he was geting a pig tendon transplant or something. I guess it didn't work out. He's still my favorite rider.

i heard that dave crighton got a serious desease, not sure what exactly but he could ski as regular as he used, but the guys form DNA told me that everytime he skis, he kills it as usual
