I think there was a white kneissel in there somewhere in the early 90's and a slew of rossi rentals and demos over the years as I learned and broke skis, waiting for replacements.

If I run through and estimate in my head....I would put the total for just skis at $8750.  So, yeah, still a shit load.

You have to remember, though, that almost every single one of those skis got sold too.  Currently I only have 190 FFFs....everything else has either been sold or was trashed (maybe 3-4 pairs).  So it has a way of working out.

My first skis were these 30 cm wooden skis probably from the sixties, my second skis were a pair of 45 cm plastic Rossignol skis. My first shaped skis were Elans. My first twins were 180 Candides. My newest skis are 189 Seths. I don't remember too much else.
