i'm so stoked to see how they ride, got a new (for me, cant afford new gear) pair this year
Isn't -5.5 from center the recommended? Regardless mine are mounted at the recommended point and they pretty much slay.
I spent a decent amount of time in the trees last spring in Heather Canyon at Mt. Hood Meadows and had a blast on the jj's. Of course they will never be that good on ice and at least twice I've read comments about their tendency to slide while turning due to their relative lack of sidecut...but both times that was also mentioned as being a plus and making the ski a lot more fun to ride in the powder but of course the ski won't turn as sharply, so don't slide into the trees.
