Replacing the powerstrap on my foils?

So, after 1 season, my powerstrap is shot. The velcrow is peeling off, and it never holds together. Im condicoring in buying a set of Regular 140lbs-180lbs Booster Straps. However, looking at the back of my boots, the current powerstrap is held in by two rivits. Im wondering if it is even possible to replace these powerstraps for booster straps. Is this something I can do on my own, or something a shop will need to take care of?

Have the shop where you get your booster straps do it for you.

I'll be ordering them from proctorjones.
There arent too many competant shops near me. Is it something I, or my dad could do ourselves?

did it work fine? Im pretty set on ordering some.
My dad knows how to drill out a rivit, and how to install a t-nut(one method of installation). I think ill order and just go whichever route is possible then.
I'm still open to stories/ideas.

thats exactly what any shop would do. you just drill out the rivet to get the salomon strap off there, and put in a t-nut or pop rivet to hold the new booster strap in place.
