Kitimat, BC (45 mins from where I am) and Smithers, BC (180 mins from where I am) both have fresh snow on the mountains. These areas get colder a little bit faster than where I am, so next up is here. I can't wait to be staring at the fresh snow up in the mountains, ahhh.
This year is predicted to be a snowy winter, yes!
One time, on a La Nina year, there was 12 feet of snow that came down all in one dump... I think it was 2 or 3 days it tooks. But it caused avalanches on many of the mountains making the highways blocked so no one could enter or exit the town. If that were to happen this year, urban rail and kicker sessions would be happening daily. School's would be closed like they were last time from all the snow and.. fuck, even if I had to walk/ski into town I'd do it. It'd be so worth it.
