alright heres the deal, i went to okemo today and rented a pair of 1080s, now i havent skied in 4 years, ive been skiboarding the past few years. Okemos conditions were pretty mad, all granular fake snow slush crap, and ice. When I started riding I got the hang of it, but every once in a while, id take a digger cause the snow was so slushly, i was getting so frustrated cause all i wanted to do was do tricks, like i do on my skiboards, and i couldnt even get down freeriding today. Also, I had a shitty pair of nordica boots and salomon 890 bindings, the skis seemed heavy as hell all. Is it because of my bindings and boots, or because im so used to skiboarding? to obviously skis are going to be heavier? I was thinkin about lookin into a line 1260 with the look p12 bindings, will possibly 1080 boots, will that be light? and will the higher end equipment make it alot easier to ride? I was just wondering cause I was gettin wicked ass frustrated today, its either cause i suck or cause the snow was so bad.. let me know..
