i personally think it should be a holiday. ill be at ground zero tomorrow after noon.

why make this one day into a holiday, and not Dec. 7th (pearl harbor day) or VE or VJ day? We can't make one of them seem more significant than all the others.

it seems most people just want a day off. Personally, i don't think it would be right to have September 11 off. It should be remembered, but should be like any other day just to prove that life goes on no matter what they try to do to us.

i just recently watched zeitgeist so this may be very false, but why make a holiday for a day that our own government or the people that run the country (which may not be the government) attacked our own soil to provide a means for the country to unite against a common enemy?
