Skating help

alright so i just started to skateboard and i got my ollies pretty well cept for one thing. alot of times when i kick down on the tail the board moves behind me behind my heels.... so is there a technique to keep your board straight???

probably your foot positioning...or you are jump and trying to let the board follow....it's all hard to explain....it also means you are probably trying to get the board higher than you can comfortably ollie..you'll fix it through experience

huh well like my right toe is on like the left side of teh tail and my left foot toe is a lil past the first bolt i guess.....so when you guys ollie are your foot positioned straight on top of the board? like the arch of your foot is in the middle of the board?

well everyone does it different, but i have my foot pretty centered on the tail, most of the way across the board in front and behind the bolts. you have to try different stuff until you find what works.

right in frotn of the bolts, is kind of far up... but hey its all preference and experience, can anyone tell me how to keep a kickflip under me? i always land my front foot on middle of the board.

in front, like a few inches back. its gay if its too far back. you gotta kickflip with almost the same motion as your ollie
