My job sucks

I work at a supermarket, and today was just one of those days. Someone ran out without paying like 100 dollars worth of groceries and evryone made fun of me, like h"ow did they manage to get away" "maybe you should have jumped on him, he probably would have liked that" and all this mean stuff, im also extremely weak, and i cannot lift cases of water, and i always get made fun of. and i had all these live lobsters i had to ring through today and there legs were like sticking out of the bag, so basically no one at my job takes me seriously and thinks im a huge slutty ditz which im not at all. its just annoying. sorry i just needed to vent

i wish i had a job. but that is really shitty, tell them to shut the fuck up. you should learn how to defend yourself and not let people walk all over you like that. make fun of them for something that is even worse. thats how i handle those things. its immature, but it works.

yea that blows, Ive had the same problems with not being able to lift things and the guys thinkin im a ditz. I just laugh and give it right back, but then im serious too so then know when to joke and when not to. good luck hun!

Well you can always make fun of the lifers that are their cause they will always be there no matter what happens at least u know ur only there to make some quick cash during school and what not so dont let it get to u and keep on trucking

and for the water just flirt with the dudes at ur work i'm sure they wouldn't mind carrying the cases for yah hahaa

The thing is that im not good at thinking on my feet at all, and when they say things to me i just try to shrug it off but its like a group of like 5 guys and they all just think there so funny, ugh but whatever.

i sit at an office on wall street and once in a while type some stuff into a computer. the rest of the time im on aim or playing games. i work whenever i want and get paid 14/hr

my jobs have always been kind of the opposite though, I can lift heavy stuff for some reason, but everyone always tries to help me.. "don't carry such heavy stuff all the time." etc. everyone thinks I'm cute and innocent and stuff, and everyone thinks I'm like 5 years younger than I actually am. it isn't so bad, but...

they're probably pissed because they have to pick up your slack. i hate working with inferior people. if you can't lift up some water, doin' it over and over and over will make you better. quit crying. there are 7 year olds working 80 hour weeks in 3rd world countries.

i think i understand the slutty part. i would think you're slut as well if you're weren't strong enough to pik up some water. my first guess would be that you're spending too much time on your back.

when i was 17 i used to unload trucks at a furniture warehouse. that was the hardest job of my life. i lost so much weight for sweating my ass off. i almost died a shitload as well from shit almost falling on me. i always felt bad because i was this small white kid working with these huge black guys so i'd buy us all beer and smoke them tons of weed for always picking up my slack. thats' respect right there.

so bad call. who are these guys and why the fuck do you care what they think. next time ask them if they're enjoying circle jerkin' with themselves while you were blowin this guy with a 10 inch cok last night. they'll be sad cuz they're lonely and then jealous cuz you need more meat than they can provide.

hahaahah that post was amazing, i work at a pizza joint where you have to do everything ridiculously fast and still have it be quality, fuckin i gotta be able to sauce, cheese, and pepperoni a pizza in about 20 seconds, that's some fucked up shit right there. i get called "the rook" and they made me eat a line of garlic and butter scraped off a fucking pan for no reason and then made me eat a bunch of halepenos today because i couldn't fucking make pizzas fast enough. then some fucking Jew comes in with his yamika on and the total is $9.55 so he gives me 10.05 to make sure he gets two fucking quarters back instead of 45 cents...just to make sure that stereotype NEVER goes away...fucking moron. then every day some jerk off orders a "pepperoni and cheese pizza" if you do this you should put a gun in your mouth right now because if you think a pizza isn't going to come with cheese you are a fuckin imbecile, so i always end up getting them two pizzas a cheese and pepperoni and they act like I'm the fucking stupid one. so essentially what I'm trying to say is everyone's job sucks and if you get called a ditsy slut there are probably reasons for it.

wow people really do that peperoni and cheese shit. i would've never guessed that. what fucking dip shits. i used to work in a pizza joint and i hated it. i delivered and people would complain about the price of the pizza, like they didn't get it on the phone. so i just brought coupons with me and told them to give me he difference as a tip. they were stoked. i quit in 10 days cuz i found a better job that paid me $26/hr driving a shuttle around and drinking beer in ski storage.

yeah dude like once a day someone does it its retarded. or some jackass kid stoned out of his mind will come in and ask for something and ill ring it up and be like "that's 2.50 man" and hes like "oh shit man i don't even have 2.50" as he jingles around a few coins in his hand, and I'm like "thanks buddy that over-ring comes out of my fucking paycheck you worthless piece of shit, you seriously don't have 2 fucking dollars?" assholes, today some guy came in and while i was in the back making his pizza he was yelling to me and whoever would listen that he got pulled over by the cops and had an assault rifle and 9 handguns in his passenger seat along with 15,000 rounds of ammo or something, i don't even know what the fuck he was saying or why really but i sure did give him that pizza and get him the fuck out of the store fast. The dude liked guns though haha, i think he was mildly retarded or something

^ those types usually are. that's a bummer dude. if you keep looking for jobs while you have one, you'll find a good one that you can slack off at and enjoy. people forget that the hardest work you have to put in to finding employment is finding a decent job. don't settle for those bull shit positions, your american you're better than that. that's why we have immigrants. you're educated and can communicate well, that's more than most people applying for those jobs. how often have you been rejected for a job? you're probably gonna be quilified for whatever you apply for.

my next job is gonna be a part time accountant in a couple years. gonna find my own clients, make my own rates ($30-40/hr) and make sure i have time to ski (no more than 25 hrs a week). i'm 22 and just starting college. life's easy if you set yourself up right.

word dude word, im 17 though so my options are semi-limited, but yeah once school starts ill deffinetly look for a slack off job where i can whack pud all day and get paid more than minimum wage. it pisses me off to see kids make like 15 an hour to sit around and organize clothes while i bust ass for 6 hours non-stop and make minimum wage. but oh well, knowing the value of a dollar isnt a bad thing...just wish i could get a new car and all the ski shit i need.

Come work at Gifford Woods, you don't do shit, and the staff is great. I work 40 hours a week, and about 1 hour a day is actual work, while the rest is just driving around the mule, and eating free ice cream.
