Should i start smoking weed?

i have been debating this for a while and i read the thread about how its not that bad but i still dont know i have only drank a few times but other then that i am pretty straigh edge if you have good/bad experinces with weed please share and i have been ofered it a few times.

there is no physical addiction related to THC but people get emotionaly addicted
ie. they need weed to feel normal



dude moderation is key, i smoke weed every once and a while and buy a half ounce about 2 times a year and i love the stuff. you gotta make a choice like this for yourself an not worry about what other people say so making this thread is kinda dumb.

In my opinion, it does bad things to people, I have a friend who has been my buddy forever and he recently started smoking last year, and since then he hasn't been the same. He never wants to do anything with me unless were drinking or smoking. I don't smoke, ive done it a few times but i dont like it, i also drink on occasion but its not a big thing for me.Whether you think so or not, weed changes people, and for some people doing it for a bit changes them to think about how dumb it can be. I do agree that especially on ns, everyone does it. and no matter how much you say whatever I dont care what people think you do, and even if someone doesn't directly come up to you and say yo man smoke weed, you still get influenced even if no one says a single word to you. My response would be yeah, sure try it out, and see if you like it, but don't become so addicted that you need it. Don't let it take over your life that you need it to have fun. Thats my ten cents

just dont smoke that much your first time, sometimes it doesnt kick in until after you smoke so dont overdo it, if you smoke too much you might have a paranoiattack because your not used to the high, but its better than drinking in my opinion

try it, usually people like it or hate it. Why the flip are you asking ns anywase. Of coarse a bunch of users (not everyone is, but definetly the majority) are gonna tell you that you should start. Remember drugs are fun but they always suck away your money

Meh, when it's time it's time. I did it for about 2 years in high school just because i was bored with my life. Im not gonna lie most of my amazing times in high school probably were conneceted somehow with the sticky icky. Those are probably be the best times of my life.

yeh i agree with the above posts. give it a try man. ive been smoking weed for a little more then this summer. i just got my first high not 2 long ago. it feels really good, for me i was passing out every other second and then coming back, it was kinda weird but really fun + u get a really nice sleep. but i agree that u shouldn't be deciding to do it based on people from the internet telling u but hey, were like ur peers so do it up son!

dont do it. while it doesnt immediately affect ur brain, and it is harmless if u do it like 5 times, its expensive, addicting and WILL screw up ur life. end of story. ask k2rider_12 wat weed does to you. he has larra info

just try it and see....i do sports so i dont drink or smoke too much, especially because of the crackdown on drugs at my school.  people were bringing in a waterbottle and filling it with vodka and getting drunk in class and people would smoke pot right outside the school during lunch.....fucking idiots.  so now teachers and police in my town are watching for all the drugs and stuff

it really depends on your personality, there are so many people who smoke and maintain a normal life, and so many who don't. If you have any sort of self control it shouldn't be a problem. But if you debating it, then the answer should probably be no.

yeah the deal is that its not physically addictive, in that your body can never get to a point where it needs weed to function properly.
it is pretty habit forming though, in that its such an easy way to have a good time, you want to just keep having fun. its pretty much addictive on the same plane skiing is - like you get bummed out in the summer or if youre injured or w/e but it isnt like you feel sick or need to go to rehab
