Tips on how to get more height in the Pipe

Please post anything you know that will help you go bigger in the pipe besides lotsa speed :) hehe i need to work on the technical parts of it

pumping helps a lot...like u bend ure knees as u drop in and then extend when u hit the flats, then the other way around wehen u go up the wall...my brother came up with a way to help...just stand on the wall ure dropping in on, and dont ski into it, just drop in straigh with no speed, helps a ton with pumping....
and dont pop at the top of ther wall...pop=flatbottoming=DEATH

I find carving up the wall really helps... Think of height instead of distance. You want to stall in the air, rather than soaring over the wall. And like the last dude said, pump the tranny! To get more air, bend your knees in teh flats, and start to extend at the beginning of the wall on your way up. To get more speed, start to extend at the top of the wall on your way down. Don't forget to do a SICK handplant at the bottom! :0)

Speed! Go parralell to the pipe for about 5ft to start to pick up some speed then drop in, but dont turn 90 degrees and drop or youll flat bottom, instead drop at maybe a 10-20 degree angle, almost parralell to the pipe. When you drop make sure to try and contact the vert part of the pipe. Right after you drop in start pumping and carving towards the other wall. Play around with the angles, you dont want to go straight up in the air and you dont want to go flying down the pipe. That should get you some height if you understand what I just typed. The more speed you carry in to the pipe and the better you learn to pump the more height you will get.

yeah drew....if we could just get some height...if i had some more height i might be able to reach the top cabinets without having to climb on the kitchen counter.

ya i can do 9s and whatnot.. i can't do spins anymore in the pipe w/ out going offaxis lol but i cn only do them like maybee 1-3ft out of the pipe thanx for all your input i will work on it this weekend and mc try some of those HUGE platform shoes and maybee u will be just tall enough on youru tip toes to open the cabinet haha
