How would I go about building a frame or something this summer where we usually build our booters so we don't have to really build the jump. When it snows the snow would just pile on top of it and we would pack it and shape it.

maybe making a huge pile of dirt shaped as a kicker
or stack a lot of logs up like this, so the snow would cover it

ooo

ooooooo
or just make a big kicker out of wood, but make a tonnn of strong supports so it wouldnt break

yeah i think dirt would work best. just dig it up where you want to make it. i wouldnt make one out of wood. that would suck to haul it all the way up to where you want it.

Crystal will shit all over you if you go digging up inside their ski area. It better be well hidden or somewhere more privately owned.
Also, I think that those ramps that downhill bikers use could make great ski takeoffs for drops and all... that would be kinda cool.
As for the jump, you're going to be working for days if you want to get soil in the PNW. Just pile some logs or branches to get a basic shape. Its not going to be much in all honesty, it would be better to just scout a already well defined spot and just keep it maintained all year.

simple. find new locals, take your time, and build big. takes time to dial it all, but keep it up

I was thinking logs, dirt a wooden frame and sticks. But it would be a bitch to get all the 2x4s up there!

thats how the landing on chads gap and alot of other gaps are. they were just big piles of dirt from mining operations but shaping the dirt would probly work pretty good. see if you can rent a tractor or something
