US dollars in canada

ive heard that canada in some places may accept us dollars. Is this the case in whistler?

Most will, but you will get screwed with the rate. Best bet is to change cash in advance or use your credit card in which case you will get the actual daily exchange rate!

Unless you got a briefcase full of dirty 100$ bills to pass on, dont use US Cash.

yes Whister will for sure, but some places will only accept it at par, although the exchange rate isnt that good right now anyway

meh i dunno. it depends on where you go, if its in canada, close to the border, then yeah. but i dont think everyone does
