I am hoping some of you will help me with a story that I am writing about terrain parks. The focus is on Vermont, so if you ski there, even better. Let me know what you think about the questions below or tell me other stuff that I did not ask about but is important to you in regards to skiing.
Thanks for your help. You can either post your comments here, or email me firstname.lastname@example.org. I hope to use your information for background information or quotes. If you respond here, I will most likely use your screen name. If you email me, feel free to include personal info that I can use in the article. Thanks, Heather
How long have you been skiing in parks?
What got you interested?
When you are skiing, are you competitive, supportive, encouraging, critical of others? Is there a big community aspect?
Do they think of yourself as being distinct from the rest of the skiing population, more closely tied to snowboarding?
How would you describe yourself or the typical person in the park - style, interests, etc.
What do you think the male/female breakdown is in interest?
Is competition an important aspect of the sport for you?
