How much do rails wreck your skis? what can they do to them apart from bunt edges and crack them?.can it totally screw them

i think rails are one of the most fun things about skiing, just dont do them with your all mountain/carving skis cuz it will screw up your edges

if you do them right they dont really screw up your skis too much, see i always lean back ,a dn my edges are terrible now

if you do them well, your skis will be fine. i've done innumerable (that a word?) rails on my 3 year old 1260's, and they are fine.

i slid rails for 3 weeks...dulled an edge and put a bruise on my base....and i did like 20 a day....basically u get it right = minimal damage
