yeah ive been playing for three weeks now. i scored a 49 on 9 on saturday. then sunday morning i blew out my knee.

You guys are shitty. If you're just starting, good, keep at it. When you get it right it is extremely addicting so be wary. I have grown up around golf. My dad and grandfather both winning amateur tournaments. Im 16 and at the country club where i belong i shoot on average low 80's.

i used to go like 3 times a week in the summer, and i was pretty good like high 70's on 18 holes, but i stopped for 2 year and i just went like last weekend, and got 98 on 18

high 70's is pretty good for a casual golfer. not that 3 times a week is casual but...

it all depends on the course too because we have this really short but hilly course that i play all the time and if you shoot high 30's for nine thats pretty good but then there are other courses around here where if you shoot mid 40s your not doing to bad

Yea at the courses around here if you shoot anything around a 40 you are doing good. Anything under and you should be playing in some tournaments. I've played at other courses and can easily shoot low 40's first time there but after playing my home course my whole life I only break 40 every once in a while.

I love golf. My goal is to play 60 rounds this summer but I should be able to do more than that. I shoot in the 90s, looking to break 90 consistently this summer, should be pretty close, if I can clean up the short game I'm there. Some of you guys should join the NS golfers cult, I cant get you in though.
