yesterday, i was upstairs when i heard the loudest screaming ever from my mom and sister, so i ran downstairs, and my dad was unconscious and he had a heart attack...i tried to give him CPR, but it didnt work, and he died, like in my arms. it was the worst thing ever, im gonna have such a hard time getting over it...i was wondering if anyone else has been through this and what did they do...

thanks for the support guys...the thing is, during his life he had like hardcore diabetes and was suffering greatly, and i know for sure he isnt suffernig anymore where he is.

im so sorry man, i know a little bit of what youre going through, my cousin was having a lot of problems in california so he came to live with us for around 4 years...he was in washington dc at the fourth of july fireworks and fell of a retaining wall and broke his neck, so he was like a brother

yeah thats too bad man, sorry to hear it. My uncle i knew really well just died of a heart attack, it was kind of shocking because he was only 49. But he did a lot of drugs when he was younger. I can't imagine how my aunt felt because he died in her living room and it was the kind of heart attack where he didn't have a chance.

im emotionally dead.... my parents think theres something wrong with me.. if someon dies, or anything, i just go about things like its normal... but, im not a total jerk either, if on of my friends had somone close to them die id be really nice.. but... i donno...

I'm really really sorry man that is such a bummer. This happened to my friend's dad a few years ago. He was working on their sugar house (for making maple syrup) and he started to feel worse and eventually he made it up to their house and my friend watched his dad die. It was really sad because he was such a great guy.

I'm really sorry Joel I'm sure you have the support of everyone on here and I wish you the best of luck.

my mothers brother had a heart attack last weekend and he died. he was a semi alcoholic though so it wasn't a real shock for us that he's going to die soon. it must be hard for my mothers mother because first died her sister then after a few weeks died her sons daughters child and now her son...

a similar situation happened to a friend of my family, and i can't imagine how hard it must be fore you to go through this. just remember all the good times you two had, and just keep reassuring yourself that he's in a better place now.

my dad died i think five years ago...it sucked a whole lot...let me just give you a tip...get out of your house as often as possible...be with your friends a lot and just do what you normally did before this happened...dont let them always try to comfort you...if you keep you mind off of it for the first little while, it helps...friends are the most importnat thing that you can have going through this horrid experience...my friends are what kept me alive...i hope you all the best during the next bit of your life and am really sorry that you had to have the same experience that i had
