Ants Are CRAZY

The other day at work i was weeding, and i came across an ant home, so i took the little digger and i went, in... oh boy it was a fun site, there must of been thousonds all running out cuz i destrouyed there home, then i digged more and i found all these ant eggs, so i killed the eggs, then even more ants came out... there wasss sooo many they where the litle red kind.. anyway i fond this huge black ant that looked like a queen and and i put it with the small red ants, and these ants fucking destroyed the big black ant, it was fucking Crazy. So then i went and found a Beatle.. this guy was like 1inch long and the ants are like 1mm, so i put the beatl with them, it was a good fight took like 30mins and the beatle probbily kill like 100 ants before it got taken down, work is fun

ya and they had like tactiks.. to get kill the beadle, they went for his feet, and made these little sand balls arounf its feet, so he had no mobility, then they would try to flip him on his back and go for hi stomach

find a big fat earthworm and toss him on the ant hill. the ants all attack it and it gets big puffy things where they bite, then they cut off little chunks with their jaws and take them in the nest and like 20mins later, the whole worm is gone.

in one of thoreaus books i think he talks about ants. Theyre crazy. I used to make these islands in the gutter and put ants on them. I'd save all the ones that tried to swim off too.

There was two ants at work a few weeks ago. A small one and a bigger carpenter ant. I would fence them in with my feet, making something similar to an arena. I would make them fight. The smaller ant would go all crazy fast and attack the front of the bigger ant then run away. It was cool.=

i was reading this evolution book and they say within a thousand years some types of ants could be the size of dogs

huh, yeah i dont think it would take an unlimited number.. I read a story in my english book about these ants that killed this guy.. It was fiction, i hope. lol. But it was still cool.

i dont think its possible for something to evolve in a matter of a thousand years. only under certain circumstances would that occur. under normal conditions evolution takes hundreds of thousands of years to millions of years im sure.

lots of people get killed by fire ants every year. I like to think of them as just a big distributed computer system, where they essentially only have one brain and all work towards the same goal.

That's why they can take down things much bigger than them.

I rafted the Grand Canyon last summer over the course of 18 days. One of our biggest beach hobbies was killing ants. We tried all kind of stuff. One day my friend and I got a bucket of water and some sticks and put like 100 ants in the bucket of water. One of them lasted a long ass time and hung onto the bucket after we dumped them out and bit me while I was doing dishes later that night.

We also set one of thier hills on fire with our leftover lighter-fluid. That was a good time. If you don't want to kill them all, but make them go away, throw some big rocks on their house. It makes them spend all of their time rebuilding instead of looking for food.

An ant would have to evole some sort of lungto be able to grow the size of a dog, it was the last thing i learnt in biology, they have no longs they just breath by difusion so they're tiny because there isn't enough oxygen in the air.

like hundreds of thousands here

so i was bored and figured if i made a pool of wd 40and kinda lit it on fire it would be cool

i did and it was cool .......... there werre running into the ant hill whal they were on fire and stuff it was pretty fun to watch what they did
