Caffeine +Track/Field?

i've read that caffeine pills taken like 30 minutes pre-race improve your times by a legit amount, has anyone had any experience with this? i got friends that take ma huang, which is like ephedra, but i don't wanna fuck with that.

crush them and snort them. it will hit you in 5 minutes. my friends and i use to do it before school all the time

^ not a good idea. the fillers and stuff (basically everything else except the caffine) isnt too good in your nose... and it shouldnt be cheating its perfectly legal to take caffine.
