What should i do?

ok guys i blew part of my edge yesterday. its about 3/4 of an inch along the edge and 1/2 an inch from the edge to the middle of the ski. This hole is about 5 inches behind where the heel of my boot clicks into my bindings.

my question is how much do you think it would cost me to get fixed? and would it be worth it to get fixed considering my seasons over and i'm going to buy new skis next year? IF i got it fixed i would use them on my backyard setup, urban(even though i've never done any becasue i suck), and other non mountain skiing escapades.

Suggestions. lets hear them. and no i don't want to buy your guys skis so don't even offer.

that pretty much wont matter at all on urban skis. dont bother to get it fixed. most urban skis are much much worse than that.

damn dude, so quick to toss away a pair of skis? You could find something creative to do with them, if not use them for urban.

yeah, no need to do anything for them for summer or urban, but if you want to...mix up some super hard epoxy, tape down index cards to your base and pour some epoxy in to the little hole and then tape off the edge and leave it for a couple days, it will rebuild your edge a bit, works ok...but you really dont need to do anything if your using them for summer and urban

i'd like to add my backyard setup includes a 20 footers in the winter and i don't want to hit it with a mess like that on my skis. I did notice it skiing to. when i turned left, it felt like my ski wouldn't turn so i couldn't actually carve.

it wont matter at all
the only thing that might happen is if water gets to the core of the ski and then it will rot and break eventually but u need to have alot of water in the base and it has to stay there.
but ive gone like a whole season with holes in my skis and they have been fine

i wouldnt worry about it but if u are and u dont want to spend alot of money just get epoxy and cover the core shot with it
