mike said he would be all for opening it but the boss is a big doosh bag and he hinted that its all his call and he heavily reminded me of the chance of rain which has come true. my guess no it will be closed again and skiing magazine will allow elfs to contiue to test skis in privacy of upper jonesys.
pick is closed, for everything, we aren't setting up rails there. in fact we are taking all the rails out of pick this year because of damage that was done to rails at the end of last year and early season this year. one person can ruin that kind of fun for everyone. those lexan sheets are expensive and that is what gets damaged or stolen when we leave anything down in pick after the season is over. Joneseys has been closed because of the building of the step down, photo shoots, ski magazine testing and today because of weather. it will be open for the rest of the season. as for the people i told couldn't hit the jump, insurance, liability and my boss told us only ski mag, dc, and one other euro group could be on it those days... no more releases like we did earlier in the year with jon's jump.
as far as the bbq, yes i'm still throwing it, in upper jonesys, saturday. the weather forecast isn't too great and I haven't got confirmations from most of the companies saying they will 100% be there. but i'll make the best of whatever we get and hope saturday is the one sunny day out of the stormy forecast. I'll buy whatever I can with my budget, which is my credit card, so we'll have some dogs, burgers, byob, dj. hopefully more with confirmations later in the week...

tell milly mike said you can't work saturday. you have a very important bbq to go to. tell her to come as well. it's been forever since she has been up here.
haha, nah man. I don't have to work.... I have the ability to come, but like 5 of my friends came to rip Snowbird, and one is coming tomorrow. So i feel obligated to pick her up from the airport and then rip snowbird with them. Oh well, I hope it's sick. The park was pretty fun today, and all the new jibs are legit. Nice work.
