crazy philosophys

you guys ever think about some weird philosophys that just make you go crazy for hours thinking about them.
like for instance if you went back in time and split your parents up so they wouldnt meet you wouldnt exist right? no you would because if you didnt exist you couldnt go back in time to stop them from meeting...
but if you were able to go back in time and split them up then what would happen to you? would you just vanish at the exact moment that your parents were seperated?

...or how bout':
you are thinking about something, anything, and the thinking is being done inside of your mind, are you actually thinking to yourself in a language that you are familiar with? you may be wondering if that language is english because you were taugt that since childhood but what actually might be is that that language is really some type of jiberish that you speak in when your mind translates it into english or any language that you are familiar with.
the question mainly is what language do you speek in?

Dammit, I've always known I was just a figment of someone's imagination. We never skied together and knew who we were, but I'm sure that we saw each other cause I was at the mountain a lot, and we might have skied together without knowing we both came to this site.

To the person who asked about the 4th dimension: there is one. It's time. There's 3 spacial dimentions that we work with, plus time. Outside of that there probably are other dimensions, or at least they are theoretically possible.

alright think of this one for a second.

we are a cloned cycle of evolution. the people that lived on this planet before us took care of earth. they found other places to settle, or they settled else where and started our planets cycle. and the only reason why we have never met them is because they don't want to have to kill us. they would want to kill us because all we do is consume and destroy, so they fear that we will migrate to their land ans destory theirs, as we have started to destory ours.............interesting.

oh i forgot to add....and the reason for them cloning their evolution cycle would be to answer all of their questions, such as 'how did we come to?'. none the less, if you think about it. it could really happen. there has got to be some species out there that is intelligent enough to produce life on other planets....by no means are we the smartest race. and if we are, we're waaaay behind.

yes bitchassphatz, but there is a flaw, not that it wasn't a great theoroy, i'm just playing devil's advocate. if they left earth, deep down in the earth there would be another level of evolutionary fossils, showing their cycle

think about a event, and how it was percieved by other people...or think of a very deep scene of a movie, or something that really touched you, and wonder, 'did it make anyone feel just like i did?' or 'did anyone understand that on a level deeper or less deep then me then me'?....its a thougth that hard to put into words

heres one to think about: eveyone does everything that they do to be happy. maybe not everydecision, but in the long run everyone makes decisions and choices to reach the same goal. to be happy. everyone in the entire worls is striving for happiness.

or:or think of everything as having its own style. like take for isnstance a tree slanted on hill, that trees style is to slant on that hill like that. Or like the soul of the tree is being show through how it is sitting there. yhou can also relate shit around you as being symbolic to your life. that shit got me goin crazy for ever. when you start thinking that everything around you relates to you in some way.

everyone on this thread prolly smokes weed.

but anyways... i always think about the concept of the word "now". like, there is no "NOW". because as you think about "now", the "now" yere were thinking of has past and you in a new "now", which is not "now", it is the future, untill it becomes "now" and passes again in the future "now".

that, and what the world would be like without me. I know that it would be perfectly normal, but it just seems so unconsievable to not be a part of it and having it exist without you.

and finally, why does everyone else seem to be retarted except for yourself? why is it that you are never the one being retarted and it's that everyone else is stupid?

this kinda goes back to the start with whatever language you think in...i think you can think in any language as long as youre good enough at it. i always think in english, but at certain times have begun to think in french in french classes. another example, we all do math in base 10 (numbers go 0, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 etc), but i taught myself to do math in base 4 (0,1,2,3,10,11 etc), and after a while was actually able to think about the problems in that. not quite the same as the language thing but kinda related.

i think time travel is just impossible. because there is one time and that time is now. if your to go back and change something in the past, when you return to the future that change will have impacted something and something could be completely different. so that would mean that theirs multiple dimensions if time travel were possible. but that would also mean that if dimensions were real, that there would have to be an infinate number of them due to the fact that every little thing is run slightly different. like if you were to fast forward time, and say in your current dimension you were doomed to die by getting murdered and you escaped it by traveling forward in time after when it was supposed to happen. therefore rendering another dimension.
i just thinkj time travel all together is impossible. but star trek ships will be coming within the next 20 years.

How about this. How do we know that we are seeing the same things as everyone else? Like this typing here. To me it looks one way but to some one esle it could look differnt. How about colors. When i see blue how do i know someone else isnt seeing red and they call it blue....

YESSSS i ALWAYS think about that. We are taught colors by words. What we see we recognize as green. It may not even look anything like it to another person, but we recognize it by name. Freaky shit.

say there is no afterlife.... what is the use of going on then if one day you die, therefore you never existed...

sure people may remember your existance on earth, but that won't matter to "you" because there is no you.

on another subject....

I think humanity will come to an end because we are too smart for our own good...

We feel strong emotions, these emotions lead us to cure disease, feed the poor...

ultimatly isn't this causing us to stop evolving??

isn't curing disease and feeding poor fueling to overpopluation and the use of all rescorces.

sometimes I wish I were completely primative... but then again, if there is no after life, there is no I.

i had a dream once with colors that dont exist... i tried to explain what they looked liek the next day and couldnt. they are so abstract from what we percieve as normal. i also have dreams where the edges are a black that is blakcer than black, its another thing thats impossible ot describe. i like thinking about color stuff like that

think about this. we know about the past, but to think that we werent in existence when this was created is crazy. we simply werent there. To like that to what happens when you die will give you an idea of what happens. Your not there. You have no memories or anything becasue you are not in existence.
