Ar6 vs Scratch FS WRS

hopefully this is my one and only comparison thread i have to make. i know they are kind of annoying.

Im in the market for some new skis after my juvys served me well but have delammed in both tips and cracked egdes haha. Im 5 7 now and about 135 pounds. I was wondering what you guess knew about the Ar6 and the scratch FS WRS interms of pros and cons of each etc. they are PRETTY much my top choice interms of size which will prolly be a 167-171. i found both of them for pretty cheap so price isnt really a problem. I ski NC, WV and VA mountains most of the time and prolly 80% park 20% all mountain. I go out west for a week a year and do more all mountain,prolly 60-70% park and 40-30% out there.

for your size i would go w ar6, stratches are a lil stiffer

i got the scratches and i love them, they are perfect in the park and good all mountain, they are pretty poppy and light. I say u cant go wrong with these skis. very nice

hmmm in my opinion both skis are very similar, but im going to say u should go bigger then a 171, espes if u do alot of park and are going to centre mount these bad sallys (which ever u choose)

i would defiantly go with the scratch i have them now and love them i was on ar5s las tyear and thought they were pretty nice, but to soft, and the ar6s is ever softer. the scratches are so light i have fks55s on them and they are still lighter than ar5s w/ p12s plus they are supper poppy and ski pretty well all mt.

thanks for all the imput fellas.

i like the graphics on the AR6 alot more, but the scratch is ok. the scratchs i can also get cheaper. and i will prolly true center to -2 from center mount them for a good park ski for when i ski east park and more all mountain out west

considering i started off with a juvy (151) i dunno if i want to ove too much bigger than a 171. its already gunna be a hell of a change haha.

174 scratch at 4 back. dude thats where candide has his. dont mount them where they arent supposed to be or they will blow dick

4 back, dammm. i doubt they will suck at if i dont mount them threr, but prolly not as good.

Most of the armada team mount there ar6 up anyway so obviously bumping it up a but wont make it suck, atleast for armadas.

yea, i was on scratches fs wrs that were mounted 3 back from center. i felt so out of control on groomers it was rediculous. however, it could also be because i was used to how well i could control and hold an edge on my foils(which are mounted only 2 back).

I agree.. scratches 2 cm back of center. They are so absolutely perfect, I love them. I weigh only a little bit more than you and I'm 6'.. so you should have no problem with the extra stiffness you get out of the rossis. The AR6's are nice.. but I like the WRSs sooo much that I would have to take them over the AR6's
