Is it really hard to ski in late April? I've heard it is really dangerous. I really want to try but don't want to be in over my head. I would say I am an int./adv skier and can ski bowls and some backcountry out west. Would it be doable??
some bowls and backcountry? unless your not talking about real bowls. there should be no bowl that is truely THAT demanding. bowls are usually the easy shit at the end of the rowdy shit. or aprons i guess.

i went today and it was prime spring conditions and a beautiful day. Dont go right now unless it is gonna be wamm enough for it to soften up otherwise u will ber very srry for the long hike.
hmmm let them die then, who ever is able to put a resort there will make some mad skrilla, but i guess keeping it all hippyish and having to hike it is cool to..........
umm i jus call that method "strapping skis to my back pack" but idk. im gettin so stoked to go jus 3 more weeks and im there. hopefully there will be still snow. any one ogin up before then keep me updated please and thanx.
could be a bad call. you just never know. like i put in the other thread..scope out timefortuckerman.com and the washington observatory. they'll keep you up to date with weather, avi conditions etc. also keep in mind that the weather changes up there on a fuckin dime. one minute it can be absolutely beautiful and the next minute it can be the scariest freakin weather you've ever seen, trust me. just use some common sense and you should aight
