If the Ocean Were Lotion: a Poem by Slandis Tanaka

Oh helpless sea-cow
you may ask me how
the water can be so harsh

It is salty and cold,
or so I am told
much like that of a marsh.

Poor salty dougon
for whom I feel sorrow
crusty ocean bunnion
may feel better tomarrow.

you skin is flakey
and has lots of cracks;
you need comfort,
and comfort you lack.

I'm a thoughtful man,
who has a great plan,
to heal the skin on your back.

If the ocean were lotion,
then we'd all get the notion,
and we need to make it snappy.

So grab your lotion
make that hand-pumping motion
and start making manatees happy.

*click* i step in and i'm ready to go,
standing in my backyard waiting for snow.
i got my ski gear on and it's 60 degrees,
3 xl jacket and pants at my knees.
cruise to the rink and jack some ice,
10 foot tall pile, shit that's nice.
put it in the garbage can, bring it back
i need a drop in- 3 pallets i stack.
sweet urban sesh now im ready to go,
still standing in my backyard waiting for snow.

Skiing is what i do check out my crew
Ride everyday and thats what we do
Our style is sick and our tricks are wack
So you best not be talking any smack
Its all about the style and the steeze
These two do not come with very much ease

its like iamoic pantamitor, 10 syllables for each line and the last words must rhyme, on everyu other line, i recently had to write a 70 line poem using this criteria, it was a pain in the ass
